Dr. Eva-Maria Heurich, DO

Dr. Eva-Maria Heurich, DO, FAAFP, CPI, is an accomplished Principal Investigator with more than 30 years of clinical practice experience and extensive leadership in clinical research across a broad range of therapeutic areas. She began her research career in Orlando 1998 where she was an Investigator on the massive, landmark ALLHAT study.

Since 2000, she has served as a Principal Investigator on psychiatric trials in Winter Park, followed by 7 years Downtown Orlando where she served as a Principal Investigator on countless Phase I–IV clinical trials. Since 2016, she has served as a Principal Investigator at a clinical site in Maitland, FL and has led numerous Phase I-IV evaluating innovative therapies in autoimmune disease, cardiometabolic disorders, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hepatology, neurology, psychiatry, pain management, musculoskeletal conditions, and vaccine development.

As an ACRP Certified Principal Investigator (CPI), Dr. Heurich has successfully overseen complex multicenter studies involving Alzheimer's disease, migraine, diabetes, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), osteoarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic conditions. Her research experience includes evaluating novel therapeutics, biologics, and medical interventions while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Dr. Heurich's unique combination of clinical expertise and research leadership enables her to provide valuable insight into study design, patient recruitment, protocol execution, and investigator oversight. Her longstanding commitment to advancing medical science has contributed to the development of therapies aimed at improving outcomes for diverse patient populations.

In addition to her research accomplishments, Dr. Heurich, who is a board-certified family practice physician, has held academic and leadership roles throughout her career and remains dedicated to expanding access to innovative clinical trials and advancing evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Tirso Negron, MD

Dr. Tirso Negron, MD, is an experienced Physician Investigator and board-certified emergency medicine physician with more than three decades of clinical practice and extensive expertise in clinical research. Since transitioning into research leadership, he has served as a Principal Investigator on numerous Phase I–IV clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas, contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and patient care.

Dr. Negron has held Principal Investigator positions with 3 Different sites, where he has successfully overseen more than 35 clinical studies as either a Principal or Sub-Investigator. His research experience spans multiple indications.

Drawing on a distinguished career in emergency medicine—including leadership roles as Director of Emergency Medicine and Emergency Department Attending Physician at several major hospitals—Dr. Negron brings exceptional clinical judgment and patient-care expertise to every research program. He is highly skilled in performing study-related procedures and managing complex patient populations, making him a valuable partner in the execution of high-quality clinical trials.
